One teenager killed, one injured after being attacked by unidentified men while riding their motorcycle on a Bangkok road

Bangkok –

Munikorn Wonghanprap, 19, was stabbed to death while his friend Narongrit Netthong, 19, was seriously injured and suffered a shoulder wound after being chased by a group of unidentified men on Srinakarin Road, Bangkok, last night, September 26.

Munikorn was found with two deadly stab wounds to his back and Narongrit suffered a stab wound to his left shoulder. A good Samaritan immediately reported the incident to the Bangkok police and local rescue officers.

Both of the injured men were delivered to a local hospital but, unfortunately, Munikorn was pronounced dead during the commute by ambulance.

According to local witnesses, the boys were riding a motorcycle on Srinakarin Road around 10:00 PM when they were attacked by an unknown number of men who were also riding motorcycles.

The sudden attack occurred in front of the Paradise Park department store. The injured boys were seen lying on the ground while the group of attackers had quickly sped away.

Initially, Narongrit is recovering at a Bangkok area hospital and will be taken to the Prawet Police Station for further questioning regarding the incident while the body of his friend will be given to family members for religious rituals. Police are also expected to review CCTV in the area for more information regarding the identity of the attackers.
