Heavy showers in Korat last night caused major flooding in Korat City.
The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation in Nakhon Ratchasima reported that the heavy rain hit around 5:30 PM yesterday and lasted for about two hours.
Water found on road surfaces ranged from about 10 centimeters to over 50 centimeters high.
It was reported that a sedan fell into a construction pit at an underground cable project on Poe Klang Road as a driver was unable to see the hole under the flood waters.
