Thailand’s Meteorological Department announced today, October 22, that Thailand has officially entered the winter season today, with the lowest temperature in the morning in upper Thailand.
From October 22nd onwards, the high-pressure area from China has extended to the North, the Northeast, and the Central, causing a 2-4 decree Celcius drop in temperature with cool and windy and less rain in these areas.
The wind hovering Thailand at an altitude of 100 meters to an altitude of 3,500 meters has moved towards the northeast or east wind while the upper winds of 5,000 meters have shifted to the western, resulting in the lowest temperature dropped in the morning in upper Thailand.
However, the weather in the country remains unstable at the start of the winter season this year. Showers are likely to occur in some areas across the country while isolated heavy rains are likely in the South.
