Minister Puttipong Punnakanta along with related officials traveled to the inner area of Bangkok of Pathumwan district, Bang Rak district, and Lang Suan Road yesterday, December 16th, to follow up on the process of communication lines installation.
The Minister told the press that the ‘Smart Metro’ aims to resolve the untidy cable problem which constantly affects the safety of life and property of the people as well as to revitalize the capital’s scenery for a better landscape. The project is expected to be completed by August 2021.
Puttipong said: “This project is launched primarily for improving the scenery of Bangkok and protecting the lives and property of the people in the capital.”
“Since TOT Public Company Limited together is already merged with CAT Telecom and will become the National Telecom (NT), this will strengthen the progress to be successfully and professionally completed by August next year.”
