Car manufacturers to make maintenance discount offers to help reduce air pollution in Thailand

Multiple car manufacturers are teaming up to present maintenance discount offers to help reduce air pollution in Thailand this Winter.

Vehicle emissions, along with burning of fields and garbage, have been identified by the Thai Department of Air Pollution as one of the top factors behind air pollution in Thailand, especially in and around Bangkok. As a result multiple car manufacturers in a partnership with the Federation of Thai Industries will be teaming up to offer incentives and discounts to get people to tune up their cars that are over seven years old.

These promotions will feature things such as oil discounts, free check ups and overall discounts on fees for various services needed such as engine check-ups and repair.

The offers will be only for vehicles seven years or older and will be eligible from now until February 2021 in Bangkok and surrounding provinces at participating service centers. A complete list of centers was not given, however, over 540 are participating according to organizers.

Please contact your local service center for specifics and to determine if they are participating in the campaign.
