Thai Tourism Authority launches new Happy Tourism quarantine website

The Thailand Tourism Authority has announced they have launched a new Happy Tourism quarantine website this week which is filled with what they call useful information, frequently asked questions and other data.

This is intended for people who wish to return or travel to Thailand, which requires a fourteen day quarantine (along with a variety of other paperwork and information which can be found on the website) at what is called an “Alternative State Quarantine” at the expense of the traveler.

The website can be found here.

According to Tat’s official statement, TAT has launched a mini-site: to provide tourists information on planning their trip, quarantine and taking trips post-quarantine, in addition to assistance and information constantly provided by the TAT’s 29 overseas offices. A TAT Official LINE Account: @happyquarantine and WeChat: HappyQuarantine has also been set up to provide information and reply to questions to quarantined tourists in Mandarin and English languages.

The page includes regulations and measures before and after entering Thailand as well as a variety of articles with things to do to “pass” quarantine time, such as watching Netflix movies or taking online courses. The page also contains a travel corner with information on various accommodations and activities in Thailand both before and after quarantine.
