Bangkok –

A 51-year-old woman reportedly fell from a hotel room balcony and died while performing state quarantine at a Bangkok hotel today, December 27th, after traveling from South Korea.

The female body was found at an eight-story hotel building at Soi Rama IX 31 of Bang Kapi district. She reportedly boarded from South Korea on December 24th at 11:10 P.M. before checking in at the hotel at around 01:52 A.M. for isolation.

According to the initial investigation, she had recently done a Covid-19 test at the hotel and was proved negative of the virus.

Officials from the Bang Kapi police station have now arrived at the scene and are in the process of a thorough investigation and witness interrogations to find the cause of the incident, whether she was falling from the balcony or committing suicide.
