Recap: Thailand’s Covid-19 local transmission cases reach 115 today, according to CCSA announcement

The following is a recap of today’s Covid-19 cases in Thailand is accurate as of this mornings press conference. Cases announced after noon, including the Chonburi cases we announced earlier, are not in this article.

A total of 115 Covid-19 local transmission cases in Thailand is confirmed at the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) press conference as of this morning, December 28th.

More confirmed patients connected to a first cluster at the Samut Prakarn seafood market were discovered in: Nakhon Pratom 15, Bangkok 10, Samut Prakarn 5, Prathum Thani 2, Nakhon Nayok 2, Nonthaburi 2, Lopburi 1, Samut Sakhon 1, Sukhothai 1,

56 cases in Rayong and one in Chonburi and Chiang Mai were also found linked to the second cluster in the Rayong warehouse in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, about 16 confirmed domestic patients are under investigation by provincial public health officials.

Among today’s new cases, a Thai man, 45, originally from Chonburi was proven positive for Covid-19 Coronavirus and asymptomatic. He is reportedly being isolated at Banglamung Hospital. His timeline is being investigated and summarized by the Chonburi public health at the moment.

Meanwhile, in Rayong, the significant discovery of more daily cases in a second cluster has resulted in total confirmed patients of 141, marking the largest number of confirmed cases outside the Samut Sakhon seafood market.

Thai people are being reminded to strictly follow “DMHTT” health restrictions, which is to perform Distancing, Mask Wearing, Hand Washing, Testing, and Thai Chana application.
