The other 275 local infections were discovered in Samut Sakhon with 269, Bangkok 5, and Chonburi 1 during active case finding by provincial public health authorities. All of them are both Thai and migrant workers and are now at state quarantine with no exposure to the general population.

All of the infections found in active case finding are currently in strict state quarantine at provided areas under public health supervision with no exposure to the general public, according to the CCSA. This means that 82 cases were found locally transmitted today in Thailand.

A total of 191 people had fully recovered and been released from field hospitals and quarantine centers. Thailand has now had a total of 12,423 cases with 9,206 recoveries.

Samut Sakhon remains the area of primary concern for Thai authorities, with most cases coming from migrant worker communities that are not given freedom of movement currently. Only 37 cases were found nationwide outside of Samut Sakhon.
