Two abandoned puppies, one dead and one alive, discovered in trash bag in Kalasin province

Kalasin –

Two 12-month-old abandoned puppies were discovered in a trash bag in front of a gas station in the Muang district of Kalasin province yesterday afternoon, March 23rd.

Local rescue volunteers were alerted of the incident after a public bus driver heard constant whining nearby when he was waiting for passengers in front of the gas station. He decided to call for help as the animals were believed to be dumped in a trash bin.

The two small dogs were removed from a tight plastic bag. One of the puppies was unfortunately found dead when rescue volunteers arrived at the scene. The survivor was a brown Chihuahua, estimated to be one to two months old, according to the officials.

The team then used a clean cloth to wipe the dirt off the puppy and rushed him to a local vet for a checkup. He was under care at the animal hospital while a rescue team was conducting an investigation to find a person who intentionally left the puppies at the gas station.
