Thai Meteorological Department warns of summer storms for three days in all regions, from April 4th to the 6th

The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has warned of outbreaks of summer storms over three consecutive days, from April 4th to the 6th, in all regions except the lower South.

The isolated thunderstorms, gusty winds, and hail are also forecast until Tuesday. Isolated heavy rains are also possible, according to the department announcement.

Affected areas are as follows:

North: Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Phetchabun, Tak, and Kamphaeng Phet

Northeast: Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Surin, Buriram, Nakhon Ratchasima, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, and Maha Sarakham

Central: Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ang Thong Sing Buri, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, and Bangkok and its vicinity

People are advised to beware of the severe conditions by avoiding outdoor places, big trees, unsecured buildings and billboards. Farmers should also prepare for crop damage.
