RECAP: Thailand announces 1,884 new daily domestic cases of Covid -19, 7 imported with 21 deaths

Thailand has announced 1,884 new domestic confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Kingdom this morning (May 1st) with 7 imported cases for a total of 1,891 cases of the virus with 21 new deaths reported, in the past 24 hours.

The announcement was made by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) in Bangkok.

Of the 1,884 new local cases, 1,799 were found through contact tracing and in hospitals, and 85 were found through active case-finding in local communities.

Bangkok has the most cases with 739, Sumut Prakan with 142, and Chonburi with 126.

Twenty-one deaths were reported which we will be updated in a separate article.
