The cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O’Cha, today, May 5th, has approved the third phase of government stimulus campaigns, namely ‘Half-Half’, ‘We Win’ and ‘Rao Ruk Gun’, providing more than 93,000 million baht in order to remedy the financial status of Thai people affected by Covid-19 pandemics.
The ‘Half-Half’ scheme will cover another group of 31 million Thai people, granting spending of 150 baht per person per day, accumulatively for 3,000 baht per person, during the limited period of July – December 2021.
About 6.7 million baht from the Covid-10 loan emergency decree will be distributed to 32.9 million people registered under the ‘We Win’ economic campaign, for 1,000 baht per week.
The ‘Rao Ruk Gun’ campaign will provide another 1000 baht per week, with a total amount of 1.85 billion baht, for 2 weeks to another group of 9.27 million people to people in critical need.
Moreover, there will be additional financial measures to be implemented in the near future, which will be using the budget of about 2.4 hundred billion baht from the emergency decree loan.
