Notorious murder suspect currently out on bail “Uncle Pon” happily shows off his winning lottery tickets amidst intense police investigation

Mukdahan –

Prime suspect for murder Chaipol Vipha, aka Uncle Pon, has recently won the last two digits of a lottery drawing yesterday, June 16th.

Uncle Pon and his wife, Pa Taan, announced their winning via their Youtube channel yesterday that they won the last two digits of lottery number 17, which is Uncle Pon’s birthday, and showed a pack of the winning lottery.

His so-called ‘fan club’, who also bought the same number, believed that Uncle Pon had brought them luck and fortune while he was facing charges for allegedly killing his three-year-old niece. Uncle Pon has adamantly denied all the charges and is currently out on bail.

Uncle Pon is now under court investigation and being watched by the Thai police after being accused of the murder of his own niece, Nong Chompoo, in a notorious unsolved case last year. He was charged for abducting a minor, abandoning a child resulting in death, and interfering with evidence on June 1st.

Uncle Pon became “famous” on social media following the death of his niece and his charismatic television interviews where he has continually denied being responsible in any way, which earned him a sizeable youtube following and even got him roles in Thai music videos.

He turned himself in to Thai police custody shortly after June 1st and went to a first court hearing on June 4th, following a police request for 14-day detention. However, he was granted bail with a surety of 180,000 baht by the Mukdahan Provincial Court and was released.

He remains in Mukdahan awaiting further court dates while continuing to run his successful Youtube channel and proclaim his innocence.
