A total number of 338,980 people nationwide have received Covid-19 vaccines in the past 24 hours. Of that, 297,542 people had received their first shot and 41,438 people had received their second shots.

As of today, 3,797 people fully recovered in the past 24 hours and have been released from field hospitals and quarantine centers. Thailand has now reached a total of 353,712 cases with 255,455 recoveries and a total of 2,847 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

Meanwhile, the Royal Gazette announced yesterday night that the Rapid Antigen Test kits are now available to purchase at hospitals, medical facilities, and pharmacies in Bangkok for home-testing, starting next week.

The order, signed by Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, aims to reduce the hospitals’ burden to only conduct RT-PCR tests against visitors, which are taking a long time to diagnose, and allow them to test and know their results at home amid the surge of Covid-19 outbreak.
