Deceased Thai actress Dtangmo’s mother postpones cremation ceremony without further notice for body re-examination

Bangkok –

The mother of a deceased Thai actress, Panida Sirayutthayothin, yesterday, March 12th, announced her daughter’s, Nida “DTangmo” Patcharaveerapong, cremation postponement for further investigation and re-examination.

Lawyer Kritsana Sriboonpimsuay said on behalf of the mother that the cremation ceremony, which was previously scheduled on Monday 14th, would be delayed without further notice as she requested to transfer the body of her daughter to the Central Institute of Forensic Science for re-examination.

On March 1st, the forensic examination revealed that Dtangmo’s cause of death was drowning. A deep cut was found on her left leg possibly caused by a boat propeller. However, the result could not indicate whether she accidentally fell from the vessel or was pushed.

“Nida’s body would be frozen at Police Regional Office 1 before being transferred to the Central Institute of Forensic Science. The decision was made as the family has raised many concerns and doubts, especially about wounds found on the body and the cause of death,” the lawyer told the press.
