30 pairs of Thai Airways’ airline seats sold out within a minute after being placed for sale online yesterday

Bangkok –

A total of 30 pairs of Thai Airways seats were sold out within a minute after being put for sale via the airway’s Facebook live channel yesterday, March 29th.

The seats from Thai Airway’s Airbus A330-300 came with three colors (pink, yellow, and purple) and were being sold at a price of 35,000 baht/pair on Wednesday afternoon around 2:00 PM. via ‘TG Warehouse Sale’ Facebook page.

According to the TG official, all of the seats had been previously in service and were still functional. They were selected and cleaned before being put on sale. The seat could be expanded to 4 inches if not attached with a floor and to 6 inches if attached.

The sale announcement had brought public attention and widespread comments on social media. However, the sale was closed within one minute after all of the 30 pairs were sold out and made a total income of 1,050,000 baht.

The seats would be delivered to customers by the first week of May, the official stated.
