Alleged Thai drug dealer arrested in Nonthaburi after escaping arrest for illegal drug charges in Chomphon

Offiicials from the Consumer Protection Police Division (CPPD) yesterday, May 4th, arrested a Thai fugitive who was wanted for selling drugs and reportedly continued committing similar crimes.

Wuttichai Yindee, 41, was wanted by the Lang Suan Provincial Court over the charge of possession of narcotics for the sale and attempting to sell narcotics Category I (Methamphetamine) without permission.

The police tracked down his location and eventually captured him in the Bang Bua Thong district of Nonthaburi on Wednesday.

According to the police, Wuttichai was charged for illegal drugs by the Sawi Police Station in Chumphon. The officials requested for an arrest warrant after they discovered his whereabouts in Nonthaburi.

About 53 amphetamines, a bag of crystal methamphetamine weighing 0.88 grams, digital scales, and a modified rifle with 17 rounds of .380 mm ammunition were found at his place. He was immediately taken to the police station for legal proceedings.
