 Police raided a famous entertainment venue in Nakhon Ratchasima province for violating legal closing hours at midnight, reportedly causing local residents to complain.

Around midnight, yesterday, June 3rd, Bunlung Waitsiri, Nakhon Ratchasima District Chief, assigned provincial law enforcement to inspect a prominent entertainment venue on Mittraphap Rd, Nai Mueang sub-district, Mueang district, Nakhon Ratchasima province, after local residents’ complaints that the place had surpassed the legal closing hours at midnight and caused a disturbance. The name of the place was withheld by TPN media.

According to the officer’s report, the entertainment venue operators were found guilty of two violations including:

  1. Surpassing the legal closing hours at midnight for entertainment venues without permission.
  2.  Violating the Communicable Disease Committee of Nakhon Ratchasima Province’s Covid-19 regulations.

The first violation was punishable by one-year imprisonment and a fine of no more than 60,000 baht or both.  

The officers had already summoned the manager, staff, and musicians and proceeded with legal action against the manager, as of press time.
