Thai Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul receives sixth booster Covid-19 shot today

Bangkok –

Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has received the sixth booster shot of the Covid-19 vaccine, his Fanclub Facebook page administration reported today, June 13th.

According to the Facebook page “Like Anutin”, the Deputy Prime Minister was vaccinated with Pfizer as his sixth booster dose. He previously had 2 doses of Sinovac, 2 AstraZeneca, and 1 Pfizer.

Anutin must be vaccinated continuously because he had to often travel and examine many risky areas for Covid-19 infections and could face a high risk of contracting the disease, according to him. Therefore, the sixth booster dose could act as his ‘armor shield’ when working in the field.

The Facebook status read: “Most importantly, the Minister is a testament to prove the safety of vaccines and the role model representing the need for vaccinations as they can effectively help prevent serious illness and death.”
