Get ready for a long holiday weekend to mark His Royal Majesty the King’s birthday

Thailand-

This weekend from July 28th to July 31st will mark a four day holiday weekend, coming not long after a five day holiday weekend earlier this month for religious holidays.

This time, the holiday is to mark the auspicious occasion of His Royal Majesty King Vajiralongkorn’s 70th birthday.

His Royal Majesty Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun’s birthday is on Thursday, July 28th, and will certainly be marked by activities, ceremonies, tributes, and events across the Kingdom.

However, the auspicious holiday has been extended through Friday, July 29th, to allow for a long weekend to boost tourism across the country.

This means for our many expat readers that Immigration and other government offices will be closed as may many other businesses, banks, and other similar venues.

There is no alcohol ban in place this holiday weekend as it is not a religious holiday.

TPN media wishes His Royal Majesty the King a very happy and blessed birthday.
