About 20 areas in Bangkok flooded as of Tuesday morning following heavy rainfall yesterday

Bangkok –

The Drainage Information System Division reported on Tuesday morning, September 13th, that the heavy rainfall in Bangkok in the past 24 hours resulted in flooding in 20 areas around the capital.

The most concerning districts include Chatuchak, Ratchathewi, Din Daeng, Bang Khen and Prawet districts. The water accumulation is currently between 5-10 centimeters, particularly on the streets and in the local communities.

Meanwhile, the Thai Meteorological Department warns of thunderstorms and heavy rain in 70 percent of the metropolitan areas in the next 24 hours. The rain is expected around 4:00 PM. and at least about 12 districts would be affected with flooding.
