More than 2,000 methamphetamine tablets found hidden in pile of goat dung at Kanchanaburi house during police investigation on Wednesday

More than 2,000 methamphetamine tablets were found hidden in goat dung while police were raiding the house of an influential drug dealer in the Phanom Thuan district of Kanchanaburi province on Wednesday, September 21st.

The raid was conducted in the evening after a drug dealing sting between an investigation team and the drug dealer named Kittithat who was locally known as “Dang Huaikrot” in the Rang Wai subdistrict on Tuesday, September 20th.

However, during the delivery, Dang Huaikrot detected the suspicious situation, so he attempted to escape the arrest and fired a gunshot to the officials. The team then shot back to defend themselves but the bullet hit the aorta of Dang’s right leg and killed him afterward.

Investigators from the Kanchanaburi Provincial Police on Wednesday morning then conducted a search at Kittithat’s house according to the search warrant issued by the Kanchanaburi Provincial Court.

Upon the examination, about 41 methamphetamine pills, 26 bullets of 7.65 ammunition, and a set of gun cleaning equipment were all hidden in the bedroom as well as a number of bank book accounts with a large amount of circulation money.

Additionally, another 11 bags of methamphetamine, containing 200 tablets each, were found hidden under a pile of goat dung in the house’s goat pen. A total of 2,200 meth tablets as well as two pickup trucks, two motorcycles, a PPV car, 105 goats, and a number of gold ornaments, with a total value of more than 5,000,000 baht, were also confiscated.
