Thailand beats world’s sixth-ranked team Türkiye with nail-biting victory at FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship

Thailand beats Türkiye in the last set of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship 2022 on Saturday, September 24th, with a nail-biting victory of 3-2.

The game started with a leading score of 25-17 in the first set from the world’s sixth-ranked team Türkiye before Thailand could catch up in the second set, winning with a score of 31-29.

In the third set, Türkiye led to three points at 25-22, making the game score at 2-1. However, Thailand broke away with the winning score of 25-19 the fourth set, resulting in the game tie-breaker.

The fifth set began with a thrilling draw score of 12-12 before Thailand could score a break point for 14-12 and finished the game with a 15-13 victory.

The next match for the Thai team is scheduled with the hosts of Poland at the Ergo Arena on Tuesday night of September 27th at 1:30 AM (Thailand Time).
