Russian tourists top Phuket charts for most visitors so far in November, over double the closest country

Russian tourists have hit the top of Phuket visitors in the past ten days.

Phuket Immigration at the Phuket International Airport reported the current arrival statistics from November 1st to November 10th, 2022. The total number of international tourists is 75,247. Of those Russian nationals are leading with 18,370 visitors so far.

In order, the other top arrival countries:

Indians – 8,939

Australians – 5,275

British – 4,511

German – 4,152

According to top Phuket tourism officials the Russian market has rebounded strongly recently and is expected to be the number one market for Phuket for Quarter 4, also called the high season.
