One gold shop robber seriously injured, one arrested, two flee, after shop owner takes the law into his own hands in Tak

  One gold shop robber has sustained serious injuries, one was arrested, and two others fled after an owner opened fire at them with a shotgun.

CCTV footage of a gold shop near a school in the Mueang Tak district shows four suspects stopped in front of the gold shop. One of them broke the shop’s glass door before the others entered the shop.

While one robber was cutting the gold shop’s barriers to try to gain access to the cashier’s office, the owner of the shop opened fire at them with a shotgun, causing all of them to flee in terror, one even slipping on the glass on his way out.

One of them has sustained serious injuries while another has been arrested. Two of them successfully fled from the scene. Police said most of the suspects are teenagers and they are hunting for the two suspects who fled as of press time.
