UPDATE: Officials Identify Tour Boat Allegedly Involved in Coral Damage in Krabi

Officials have identified a tour boat which allegedly was involved in coral damage at an island in the famous Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park in Krabi.

Coral was reportedly damaged by tour boats and tourist divers at an island in the famous Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park in Krabi.

Mr. Teekawut Sriburin, the head of the Hat Noppharat Thara Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park in Krabi, told the Phuket Express:

” We have identified the tour boat I’m question is parked at a pier in the Nuea Klong district in Krabi. The owner is being called to meet with officials. We should take care of tourists for their safety and at the same time we should preserve our beautiful environment.”

As of press time, the owner had still not been publicly identified or come forward.
