Fire Destroys Three Tour Boats in Samut Prakan

A fire has destroyed three tour boats at a pier in the Pra Pradang district.

The Samut Prakan Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation (Samut Prakan DDPM) told TPN media that a fire broke out this morning (February 21st) at 7:30 A.M. and was at a private pier in the Bang Ya Praek sub-district.

Firefighters with six fire engines arrived at the scene and it took one hour to control the fire. No injuries were reported.

Three electric tour boats had been destroyed and another boat had minor damaged. There were seven tour boats parked at the area in total.

Unidentified witnesses told associated Thai media that they heard about three explosions before seeing some smoke and fire.

The exact cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Forensic Police.
