Bangkok –

A TukTuk taxi driver attacked a foreign tourist near Khao San Road after a road accident.

A video clip of the incident was posted on the Facebook Page ‘Social Hunter Reborn v3’ this week.

The Chana Songkram Police Chief Colonel Sanong Sangmanee told TPN media that the incident was on Saturday (February 25th) near Khao San Road. There was a road accident between the TukTuk taxi and a taxi car.

The TukTuk taxi driver refused responsibility after the female taxi car driver said he crashed into her taxi and was at fault.

They started a verbal argument over who caused the accident before an unidentified male foreign tourist intervened, stating he saw the TukTuk driver crash into the woman, causing the accident. The TukTuk driver then physically attacked the foreign tourist, hitting him three times. Meanwhile, the tourist stayed mostly calm and did not attack back.

Bangkok Police are trying to contact the three people involved for further investigation.Pub bouncers in Bangkok have been fired following a viral video recording that appeared to show the bouncers handcuffing and slapping a foreign male customer in the face over a trivial misunderstanding.
