Four ports in Andaman Plan to Connect Phuket to Phang Nga and Krabi

Four ports development and construction projects in the ‘Andaman Ring’ are being planned to connect Phuket, Phang Nga, and Krabi.

The Acting Director General of the Marine Department revealed the project to the Phuket Express. The project is now in the process of a 735-million-baht budget request to the Thai government for submission. The budget will be for four ports in three provinces.

  1. Ma Noh Pier development project on the Yao Noi Island in Phang Nga will be 175 million baht with an estimated 900 days of construction from 2024 to 2026
  2. Chong Talad Pier development project on the Yao Yai Island in Phang Nga will be a 185 million baht for an estimated 900 days of construction from 2024 to 2026
  3. New ferry port at Ta Lane in Khao Thong, Mueng Krabi will be 115 million baht for 540 days of estimated construction from 2024 to 2025
  4. New ferry port at Ao Por in Pa Klok, Thalang, Phuket for 260 million baht for an estimated 900 days construction from 2024 to 2026.
