Two Alleged Gunmen Arrested in Relation to Shooting at Popular Bangkok Entertainment Venue

Bangkok —

Two alleged gunmen in connection witj injuring four people by gunshots at Bangkok’s bustling entertainment hotspot, Royal City Avenue (RCA), on April 17th have been apprehended by authorities.

First our previous story:

An outrageous shooting at Bangkok’s popular Songkran site at the Royal City Avenue (RCA) left four people injured in the early hours of this morning, April 17th.

Now for our update:

Two Thai suspects, 41-year-old Mr. Nattanon Kerdphuet and 19-year-old Mr. Nattapol Sopasak, were taken into custody by Bangkok investigators at 3 PM yesterday, April 18th, at the Makkasan Police Station.

They were accused of using firearms without permission during the Songkran festival at the RCA complex, resulting in injuries to four innocent individuals, and violating the Firearms Act by carrying firearms in a public place without authorization.

The two were then taken to the Ratchada Criminal Court for their initial detention hearing, and police have opposed # request for bail due to the severity of the charges.

Thai media tried to interview Mr. Nattanon and Mr. Nattapol, and they insisted that they did not fire the guns and had no idea who did it.

The suspects are being detained as of press time.
