Police Arrest Suspects in ‘Carbin Gangster’ Case in South Thailand

Southern Thailand-

The Central Investigation Police (CIB) launched an operation to destroy the ‘Carbin Gang” in Phatthalung. The gunmen gang was hired to kill a victim who was a widower. He was shot dead in front of his 8 year-old daughter on February 8th, 2023.

From the police investigation, police found that the motive of the killer is due to unsolved family issues which led the accused to hire professional gunmen from the ‘Carbin Gang’. The gang is reportedly a powerful gang in the southern part of Thailand, especially in Phattalung and Trang.

Police finally arrested six suspects under the accusation of ‘joining action of pre-contemplated killing of others and for possession of firearms and ammunition without a legal permit’.

The CIB police are currently proceeding with handling the arrested through the proper steps in the legal processes.
