Bangkok’s New Pink Line Electric Train Set to Begin Free Trial Soon

Bangkok—

A new Pink Line electric train in Bangkok: Khaerai-Minburi stations will be available for services on November 21st, 2023, with a free trial run after 1:30 PM.

During the trial run, Mr. Srettha Thavisin, the Thai Prime Minister, will participate in the opening of the Pink Line service from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, starting from the MRT Pink Line control center to the Wat Phra Si Mahathat station.
The Pink Line has 30 stations with a total distance of 34.5 kilometers. After the trial run ends, beginning on December 18th, 2023, the service will charge fares, initially, 15 to 45 baht on electric train rides.
