Police Raid Uncovers Underage Patrons at Alleged Entertainment Venue in Pathum Thani

At 1:00 AM, on July 6th, 2024, Pak Khlong Rangsit police, along with relevant agencies, conducted a raid on an establishment allegedly providing entertainment services in Mueang Pathum Thani, Pathum Thani.

Officers reported that the establishment, “Boston Rangsit,” failed to comply with regulations and public orders and was illegally serving patrons under 20 years old.

During the operation, police conducted drug tests and ID card inspections, discovering that over 81 individuals were underage. However, no illicit substances or illegal items were found in the venue.

The establishment’s owner was charged with operating an entertainment service without legal permission, illegally selling alcoholic beverages beyond permitted hours, and serving alcohol to minors.

The owner, whose name was withheld, was taken to Pak Khlong Rangsit police station for further legal proceedings.

Thai Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul held a press conference following the raid, stating that the establishment could face a five-year shutdown under the authority of the Pathum Thani Governor. Anutin pledged strict enforcement of the law against those who violate regulations.
