School Director Accused of Sexual Harassment by Guardians of 27 Students in Lopburi

At 5:30 PM, on July 10th, 2024, Chai Badan police received complaints from guardians of 27 school students in Chai Badan, Lopburi, alleging that the school director had committed sexual harassment.

According to the police, one guardian reported that many students experienced various forms of sexual harassment by the director. The guardians gathered at the Chai Badan police station to file reports and plead for immediate action. They also demanded the transfer of the school director to ensure a transparent investigation and protect the students’ welfare.


The names of the school, victims, and the director were withheld by the police to avoid compromising the investigation.
Chai Badan District Chief Kongtee Panupongsiri visited the police station to address the issue and oversee the case. Chai Badan officers initially interviewed the guardians, and a multidisciplinary team will conduct further interviews with the affected students.
The school director has been temporarily transferred to assist at Lopburi Provincial Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 while an investigative committee looks into the case.
To ensure the safety of students and their families, the Chai Badan District Chief has ordered regular patrols at the affected students’ residences to provide confidence and peace of mind.
