Thai Contestant Saruda Panyakham Shines as First Runner-Up in Miss International Queen 2024

National —

On August 24th, 2024, Thai national media reported the results of the Miss International Queen 2024, a prestigious global pageant for transgenders, held at Tiffany’s Show Pattaya in Chonburi.

The theater erupted in cheers as Catalina Marsano, a 32-year-old doctor from Peru, was crowned Miss International Queen in 2024.

Thailand’s own Saruda Panyakham was named the first runner-up, while Nguyen Tuong San from Vietnam secured the second runner-up position.

Miss International Queen, now in its 18th year, embraced the theme “The Force of Transformation,” promoting equality and offering a global platform for diverse individuals to showcase their talents and contribute to a more inclusive world.

“The victory of a participant from Latin America is significant, as transgender people still have a hard time in most countries in this part of the world” said Dr. Darin Phanthusak, Vice President of Miss Tiffany Show and PTS Holding, the Miss Tiffany Queen organizer.
