Over 7,600 Victims in The iCon Group Fraud Case, Damages Exceed 2.26 Billion Baht

On October 23rd, 2024, police reports revealed significant progress in The iCon Group fraud case, with a total of 7,606 complaints filed across the country. The collective damages now exceed 2.26 billion baht.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) stated that on October 22nd, interviews with 103 victims uncovered 40 million baht in losses. From October 10th to the 23rd, a total of 3,226 victims have been questioned so far, with losses amounting to over 1.08 billion baht.

The latest report from the National Police Operations Center (NPOC) on October 22nd showed an additional 639 victims with 189 million baht in damages, bringing the total number of interviewed victims between October 18th and 22nd to 4,380, with losses exceeding 1.17 billion baht.
