The Thai Meteorological Department predicts shifting weather across Thailand from November 17th-21st, 2024. A moderate high-pressure system from China will bring initial rain and thunderstorms, followed by a 1-4°C temperature drop and strong morning winds.
Northeastern Thailand will see the sharpest cooling, with temperatures falling by 2-4°C. The North, Central, and Eastern regions, including Chonburi, will experience a 1-3°C decline.
The South faces intensified rainfall, with heavy downpours and high waves due to a strengthening northeast monsoon. Chonburi, along with Rayong and Chanthaburi, will see scattered thunderstorms and temperatures ranging from 24-34°C.
Bangkok will experience light morning fog, rain, and similar temperature ranges. Southern provinces, including Trang and Chumphon, will face heavy rain, with waves reaching over 2 meters during storms.
