‘Good Deeds for the King’ Project Supports Communities

PRESS RELEASE:

The Pure Heart Foundation, in collaboration with public and private organizations, has launched its annual volunteer project, “Good Deeds for the King,” to honor the birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great on December 5. Now in its third year, the project mirrors King Rama the 10th’s vision of encouraging public service and social well-being.

Theanrat Nawamawat, Chairperson of the Pure Heart Foundation, on Dec 4, led volunteers and business leaders in distributing essential supplies to over 3,000 households. Contributions included 200 motorcycle helmets from Khon Kaen Sugar Industry Public Co., Ltd. and PT1976 Co., Ltd., as well as rice, bottled water, snacks, and beverages donated by companies such as Thai Stanley Electric and Sermsuk Public Co., Ltd.

The campaign also includes community-focused activities. Vocational training sessions, organized by the Ministry of Labor, help residents develop skills and improve employment opportunities. Additionally, the Traffic Police Division is conducting safety education programs to promote road safety and responsible driving.

Theanrat stated that the project unites the public and private sectors to support communities and honor Thailand’s monarchs, offering practical help and raising awareness in areas such as safety, livelihoods, and skill development.
