Friends in Need (of ‘PA’) Foundation Honors Princess Bajrakitiyabha

PRESS RELEASE:

The Friends in Need (of “PA”) Volunteers Foundation hosted a ceremony on December 7 to honor the birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati.

Held at the EmSphere Shopping Complex, the event was part of the “Friends in Need (of PA): Celebrating His Majesty the King’s 72nd Birthday Anniversary” program. The ceremony included a blessing and alms-giving to monks from Wat Benchamabophit and Wat Arun, offering well wishes for Her Royal Highness’s long life and recovery.

Presided over by Professor Emeritus Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Vice-Chairman of the Foundation’s Advisory Board, the ceremony was attended by board members, staff, and partner organizations. The gathering reflected gratitude for Her Royal Highness’s years of leadership as Chairperson, during which she has guided disaster relief efforts and provided support to affected communities.

Themed “Tenfold Benevolence: Streams of Compassion Across the Land,” the event also includes exhibitions on disaster relief and a royal tribute by the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation under the Royal Patronage, featuring displays on flood relief strategies and lessons from the Great Chiang Rai Floods.

The event runs through December 10 at the EmSphere Shopping Complex. Visitors can support disaster relief by donating, participating in workshops, or purchasing products from flood-affected communities, with proceeds going toward the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to assist those in need.
