On December 18th, 2024, around 6:50 AM, tourists at Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi Province spotted a leopard walking along the road near Sam Yod checkpoint en route to Ban Krang Camp.
Mr. Kristipong Ngamjing captured the remarkable sight and noted the leopard’s unusual behavior—it showed no fear of humans and calmly posed for photographs.
This rare encounter highlights the park’s rich biodiversity, which serves as a sanctuary for many endangered species.
The national park has urged visitors to maintain a safe distance when encountering wildlife to ensure the safety of both humans and animals.
