On December 28th, 2024, Deputy Government Spokesperson Sasikarn Wattanachan announced special travel facilitation measures for the New Year holiday. Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports are offering free parking and 24-hour shuttle services to ease passenger travel from December 28th, 2024, to January 1st, 2025.
At Don Mueang, free parking is available at the lot between Cargo Building 2 and the five-story car park, accommodating 250 vehicles. Shuttle buses operate every 15 minutes, connecting passengers to Terminal 1, Gate 6.
Suvarnabhumi Airport offers free parking at the Long-Term Parking Zone C, with free Shuttle Bus Line A services every 15 minutes. Passengers will also receive complimentary travel kits and drinking water.
The government reassured the public that all agencies are fully prepared to ensure smooth and safe travel during the New Year festivities, remarked Sasikarn.
