  1. In a dramatic maritime rescue off the coast of Phuket, 33 Chinese tourists, along with four Thai nationals, were saved after their catamaran capsized near Racha Yai Island.

The exact cause of the glass breaking remains under investigation, but initial reports suggest it might have been due to the force of the waves or a collision with an unseen object in the water. 

2. A tragic jet-ski collision at Patong Beach claimed the life of a Chinese tourist.

One of the Jet-skis involved in a recent fatal accident was found with its license expired.

The Marine Officer confirmed that Mr. Lyu would face a fine of 10,000 Baht for operating a jet-ski with an expired license.

3. Two French Men were arrested in Patong after a video clip of them attacking a man went viral on social media.

They are facing charges of assault causing bodily and mental harm.

4. Almost 300 police officers and 300 security staffers are taking care of safety at the Electric Daisy Carnival Concert which started in the United States of America and is being held in Phuket this weekend for the first time in Thailand.

5. An American and a Canadian tourist have both been pronounced dead after they reportedly suddenly fell unconscious at the ongoing Electric Daisy Carnival, or EDC, concert taking place this weekend in Cherng Talay.
