BEIJING, February 6th, 2025 – Thai PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Chinese Premier Li Qiang presided over the signing of 14 key agreements at the Great Hall of the People, reinforcing strategic cooperation between the two nations.
The agreements cover a wide range of sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), digital economy investment, nuclear technology for peaceful use, and space exploration under China’s Chang’e-7 lunar mission.
Thailand and China also agreed on new trade facilitation measures, such as customs data-sharing and improved certification for fisheries exports.
Additionally, both sides emphasized green investment, economic development, and enhanced media cooperation between Thai and Chinese state agencies.
The signing ceremony underscored the deepening bilateral ties, with Premier Li later hosting a state banquet in honor of PM Paetongtarn to celebrate the strengthened partnership.
