Body of Unidentified Woman Found Stuffed in Suitcase in Rayong Pond

At 5:00 PM on February 7th, 2025, police in Ban Chang, Rayong, were alerted by a local fisherman to a suspicious suitcase dumped in a large overgrown pond.

Rescue teams retrieved a partially submerged black rolling suitcase, approximately 28 inches in size, emitting a strong odor. Inside, they found the decomposing naked body of a woman, around 30 years old, with dyed blonde hair and a suspected breast augmentation scar. She had been dead for at least five days.

A 10-kilogram barbell was reportedly placed inside the suitcase, likely to weigh it down. Bloodstains were discovered on a concrete bridge leading to the pond, suggesting the body was dumped there, according to the police.

Authorities suspect the woman was murdered elsewhere before being disposed of in the pond. CCTV footage along the access route is being reviewed, and investigators are coordinating with Chonburi police, where a missing person report was recently filed.
As of press time, the victim’s identity and the perpetrator’s whereabouts remain under investigation. Her nationality is also unclear.
