1. At least 40 people have been injured after a passenger bus overturned in the Pattaya area.
The unidentified bus driver told the Pattaya News that they were heading to the Pattaya Bus Terminal from Bangkok. There was heavy rain when a sedan driver allegedly immediately crossed in front of the bus near a U-turn, causing the accident.

Mr. Tommy was accused of sexually abusing a 9-year-old girl in 2022, leading to his arrest warrant. Investigations confirmed that he was still residing in Pattaya City, leading to his capture near Thappraya Road in Village 12. This was one of two arrests in Pattaya this past week for alleged child sexual abuse.
3. The Tourist Police Bureau’s Investigation Team arrested a Russian national for working illegally as a tour guide in Pattaya.

The Pattaya News notes that working as a tour guide is a protected Thai occupation and even work permits are not available.
4. A foreign couple shocked beachgoers by openly engaging in sexual activity on Krating Lai Beach.

5. A chaotic scene unfolded in South Pattaya when local residents and motorcycle taxi drivers chased and detained an allegedly intoxicated Indian man accused of allegedly sexually assaulting a Thai woman and injuring a local resident.
This was, by far, the most commented on story of the week.
