While the exact number of suspects remains undisclosed, authorities confirmed Thai nationals were also involved. The specific charges under the 2008 Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act and its amendments are still under legal review. However, investigators are confident in the strength of the evidence and have pledged strict legal action against all perpetrators.

Meanwhile, at the Cyber Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB), Commissioner Lt. Gen. Trirong Phiwphan reported progress in handling Thai nationals deported from Cambodia for alleged involvement in online crime syndicates.

The cases, now under the National Referral Mechanism (NRM), include 46 separate case IDs with 10 suspects facing legal action.

Authorities identified over 100 Thai nationals and two Chinese ringleaders linked to transnational organized crime, with ongoing efforts to track their activities and ensure prosecution.
