Thai PM Paetongtarn Shinawatra has ordered an urgent meeting with all relevant agencies on March 17th at Government House to address construction safety issues on Rama II Road.

This is far from the first incident on Rama II. A similar construction accident occurred on November 29th, 2024, during a motorway project, resulting in many casualties. The repeated incidents have raised ongoing concerns about safety standards for motorists using the busy route.
