Philippine Couple Arrested in Phetchaburi Over Investment Fraud with 150 Warrants

Phetchaburi, March 19th, 2025 — Thai Immigration Police arrested a Philippine couple, in Cha-am, Phetchaburi, wanted for large-scale investment fraud, with over 150 arrest warrants issued against them. 

The suspects, Mr. Cerrone, 46, and Mrs. Marve, 47, were apprehended in Phetchaburi, after the Philippine Embassy in Thailand requested cooperation.

Both were subjects of an Interpol Red Notice for operating a fraudulent investment scheme that caused significant financial damage to numerous victims.

The Thai Immigration Bureau revoked their temporary stay and listed them as prohibited persons. After an investigation, police located them at a rented house and took them into custody. 

The suspects reportedly admitted to running an investment company in the Philippines, which suffered heavy losses before they fled to Thailand. They are now awaiting further legal proceedings.
