Thai Police Crack Down on Criminal Networks Nationwide, Seize Over 300 Vehicles and 239 Guns

Thailand, March 21st, 2025 — the Royal Thai Police conducted a nationwide operation, targeting influential figures, contract killers, and high-profile criminals. A total of 667 raids were carried out across 78 provinces, focusing on 653 suspects, including 88 with outstanding arrest warrants.

The raids targeted various offenses, including 207 related to major crimes, 107 for firearms, 95 for drugs, and 38 for arrest warrants. 

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) also targeted 46 specific cases, including loan sharks, human trafficking networks, and arms dealers.

Authorities seized 314 vehicles, 239 firearms (including 2 military-grade weapons), over 5,300 rounds of ammunition, and 16,161 meth pills. 

They also confiscated 108.45 grams of crystal meth, nine explosives, and 16 pieces of military equipment. The operation aims to curb criminal influence and enhance public safety.
